Arrastra Mountain and the surrounding high peaks of the Scapegoat Wilderness dominate this rugged terrain at the intersection of the Helena National Forest and Lolo National Forest. The map documents a landscape defined by significant water systems and topographic extremes, from the heights of Iron Mountain and Daly Peak down to the remote Porcupine Basin. These mountains serve as the headwaters for numerous drainages, including the Mineral Fork and the North Fork Arrastra Creek.
