Infrastructure is dominated by the Burlington Northern railroad and the convergence of several major waterways, including Wahoo Creek, Salt Creek, and Silver Creek. Beyond the river flats, the map documents rural social infrastructure such as School No 58 and Wortman Cem, alongside small rail-side settlements like Melia and Abel that served as local transit points before the dominance of Interstate 80.
