Dall Lake dominates the southern landscape of this remote Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta region, where a complex network of wetlands and small water bodies defines the terrain. The survey, produced by the U.S. Geological Survey with data from the FWS National Wetlands Inventory, reveals a landscape almost entirely shaped by hydrologic patterns rather than human settlement. The map is organized by the Public Land Survey System grid, covering portions of T3n R85w, T3n R84w, T2n R85w, and T2n R84w. This area reflects the natural state of the Bethel Census Area, where the land remains largely untouched by roads or permanent structures, offering a detailed view of the pristine subarctic tundra and its intricate drainage systems.
