Bartlett Dam and the waters of the Bartlett Reservoir dominate this 2018 survey of the desert landscape north of the Phoenix metropolitan area. The reservoir, with named points such as Rattlesnake Cove and South Cove, is fed by the southward-flowing Verde River. Much of the eastern and central portion of the map is contained within the Tonto National Forest, where drainage features like Indian Spring Wash and Camp Cr cut through the arid terrain. Notable landforms include Brushy Mtn and the distinctively named Bootleg Canyon. In the southwestern corner, the landscape transitions toward suburban development with a grid of local roads like E Lone Mountain Rd and E Dixileta Dr, interspersed with local landmarks like the Model A Tank.
