2012 Map of Benton

USGS Topo · Published 2012

About this map

Benton and Benton Valley serve as the central landmarks of this High Sierra eastern-slope terrain, where the desert floor meets the rising peaks of the Mono County landscape. The map illustrates a network of ranch roads and remote settlements, including Pedro Ranch to the north and the historic site of Montgomery City tucked along Montgomery Cr. The western edge is defined by a series of prominent summits, such as Diana Peak, Modoc Peak, and Buscones Peak, which overlook the deep incisions of Truman Canyon and Kerrick Gulch.
