McKinney Mountains and the northern reaches of the Monitor Range define this high-altitude landscape within the Toiyabe National Forest. The area is characterized by a complex network of drainage systems, including Hunts Canyon and Big White Sage Canyon, which converge toward Hunts Cr. While no permanent settlements are shown, the map records numerous water sources essential for high-desert survival, such as Mildreds Spring, Good Springs, and Big Ten Spring near the summit of Big Ten Peak.
