1968 Map of Blanchard

USGS Topo · Published 1971

About this map

Blanchard occupies the floor of Spirit Valley on this late 1960s Idaho-Washington borderland survey. The landscape is dominated by the steep, timbered slopes of Hoodoo Mountain, which rises sharply within the Kaniksu National Forest. In the valley, the Chicago Milwaukee St Paul and Pacific railroad follows the course of Spirit Creek, connecting the local community with the settlement of Coleman to the east.
