Sol Duc Hot Springs and the nearby Soleduck Campground serve as the primary gateways into this high-elevation landscape of the Olympic Peninsula. The terrain is defined by the convergence of major glacial drainage systems, including the headwaters of the Bogachiel River, Hoh River, and the North Fork Sol Duc River. A significant concentration of alpine water bodies is found within the Seven Lakes Basin, which includes Lunch Lake, Clear Lake, and Morgenroth Lake.
