Finley Point extends into the southeastern waters of Flathead Lake, serving as a primary focal point for residential development and lake access. This 2017 survey shows a network of local roads including Snowberry Ln and Chickweed Ln that define the modern settlement pattern on the peninsula. To the north, the small community of Bear Dance and the recreational area of Blue Bay occupy the shoreline, connected by E Shore Rd. The topography rises sharply east of the lake, where drainages like Talking Water Cr and Boulder Cr cut through the steep terrain from the Mission Range. Isolated features such as Bull Island and Bird Island dot the offshore landscape, while The Narrows marks the narrow passage between the peninsula and the western islands.
