About this map

The Reese River flows through the western reaches of this central Nevada landscape, defining the broad Reese River Valley and the flatlands of Dutch Flat. Rising sharply to the east, the terrain transitions into the steep canyons and ridges of the Toiyabe National Forest, culminating at the high peak of Bunker Hill. This transition from river valley to mountain wilderness is marked by a network of drainage systems including Murphy Canyon, Brooks Canyon, and Reeds Canyon.
