Cache National Forest dominates this high-elevation landscape along the border of Weber and Morgan counties. The terrain is defined by a dense network of drainages and named peaks, including Herd Mtn and Guilder Peak. Notable for its many family-named landmarks, the area contains Tom Condies Hollow, Tom Condies Flat, and Maggie Hopkins Cottonwood Cr. Small springs such as Willow Spring, Cold Spring, and Box Spring are scattered across the slopes, supporting the water needs of this mountainous region. The presence of Folley Ridge Rd provides one of the few improved access points through the complex topography of Bybee Gulch, Devils Hollow, and Little Buck Canyon. Unique geological features like Hoodoo Knoll, Goat Knoll, and the namesake Bybee Knoll stand out as prominent local landmarks used for navigation and land division in the early 21st century.
