1968 Map of Camden

USGS Topo · Published 1981

About this map

Camden and the surrounding borderlands of Pend Oreille and Spokane counties are defined by the narrow passage of the Great Northern railroad through the Scotia Valley. This corridor, shared with the Little Spokane River, facilitated the development of small rail-side communities like Grahams and local landmarks such as the Grange Hall near the valley's western slopes. To the south, the boundary of Mt Spokane State Park marks a shift toward more protected, elevated terrain.
