The settlement of Camp and the nearby community of Fryatt anchor this 2014 survey of the northern Arkansas borderlands. Located in Fulton County, the landscape is defined by a dense network of hollows and ridges, where deep-cut drainages like Thornton Hollow, Glass Hollow, and King Hollow funnel water toward Myatt Creek. The terrain is marked by traditional land use patterns, evidenced by numerous small family or community burial grounds including Fryatt Cemetery, Kerby Cemetery, and Shiloh Cemetery.
