Sequoia National Forest defines the character of this high-elevation landscape along the Tulare and Kern County border. The area is marked by a series of distinct upland meadows and canyons that have long served as significant landmarks for navigators and foresters. From Big Meadow and Manter Meadow in the north to the more secluded True Meadow and Cane Meadow, these clearings provide a clear view of the complex drainages of Cannell Cr and Fay Cr.
