Confusion Range terrain dominates the southwestern reaches of this Millard County landscape, giving way to the distinctive topography of the Chalk Knolls in the south-central portion of the quadrangle. This 2020 survey documents a network of desert water sources essential for survival and livestock in this arid environment, including Willow Spring, Tule Spring, and South Tule Spring. The transportation history of the region is etched into the landscape via the path of Old 6 & 50, which cuts diagonally across the basin. To the west, the expansive Cattlemens Little Valley suggests a history of grazing use, supported by the primitive routes of Tule Spring Rd and Death Canyon Rd that connect these remote water points.
