New Rockport Colony sits in the northern reaches of this Teton County landscape, where the high plains are carved by a series of dramatic drainages. The topography is defined by significant coulees including Spring Coulee, Gamble Coulee, and Coyote Coulee, which channel seasonal water across the prairie toward the Teton River. In the southeastern corner, the rising elevation of Bole Bench provides a prominent landform overlooking Wolf Coulee. This 2020 survey illustrates a region shaped by large-scale agricultural divisions and a grid of rural roads like 18th Rd NW and Miller Ln, reflecting the communal settlement patterns and land use of the Hutterite colony and surrounding ranchlands.
