Cobre Grande Mtn dominates the high desert terrain of the Santa Teresa Mountains within the Coronado National Forest. This remote section of Graham County is defined by a complex network of canyons and gulches, including Williamson Canyon and the prominent Middle Fork Goodwin Canyon. The landscape is scattered with vital water sources such as Soda Water Spring, Landsman Spring, and Monkey Spring, which reflect the historic reliance on seasonal and permanent springs for ranching and transit through these peaks.
