Local heritage is preserved in the location of several historic burying grounds, including Coral Cem, Coady Cem, and Saint Marys Cem. The map reveals a transition from the structured residential clusters of Maple Hill and Cheney Hills to the more open, wetland-rich areas surrounding Ward Lake and Picnic Lake.
