USGS Topo · Published 2001

About this map

Rockport State Park and the adjacent waters of Rockport Lake anchor the southwest corner of this Summit County landscape, where the Weber River enters from the south. The topography is defined by significant elevation changes, rising from the spillway level toward the prominent Elkhorn Divide and the heights of Piney Mountain. Numerous drainage systems including Crandall Canyon, Elkhorn Canyon, and Pecks Canyon carve through the high ground, punctuated by small upland water bodies like Sargent Lakes and the Elkhorn Reservoir.
