Daviston and its surrounding ranchlands are documented here in 2017, showing a landscape defined by the wide drainage basins of the western plains. The area is anchored by Rabbit Cr, which meanders through the southern half of the quadrangle, joined by tributaries such as Peggy Cr and Mallory Draw. These watercourses have carved subtle valleys into the high prairie, providing vital resources in an otherwise dry environment.
