About this map

The North Fork River carves a winding path through the heart of the Ozarks, defining the boundary between Douglas and Ozark counties. This landscape is characterized by a dense network of hollows, including Robinson Hollow and Slaughter Hollow, and high points like Sauls Knob and Bear Mountain. Much of the eastern terrain is protected within the Mark Twain National Forest and the Devils Backbone Wilderness, where the river provides access via the Hebron Boat Access Point.
