The Seney Wildlife Refuge defines this portion of Schoolcraft County, Michigan, where a sophisticated network of managed waterways dominates the landscape. The Driggs River meanders south through the western half of the sheet, supplemented by a complex system of drainage and diversion including the Unit Number One Diversion Ditch and the Unit Number Two Diversion Ditch. This infrastructure supports numerous large water bodies such as A-Two Pool, C-Three Pool, and Spur Pool, which are central to the refuge's conservation mission.
