Agency Plains and the dramatic canyons of the Deschutes River define this central Oregon landscape along the border of Wasco and Jefferson counties. The terrain is marked by prominent high points such as Eagle Butte and Tee Wees Butte, overlooking a network of seasonal and permanent watercourses including Dry Cr and Shitike Creek. Cultural sites are anchored by local history markers, notably the Hot Springs Cem near the Warm Springs River and the Dry Creek Cem located further south.
