Fish Creek Mountains dominate this high-desert landscape in central Nevada, providing a topographic anchor for the surrounding basins and drainages. The area is defined by its dramatic elevation changes, with Daisy Pass serving as a significant mountain crossing and Fish Creek Basin collecting the seasonal waters of Fish Cr. To the south, Cottonwood Basin and Cottonwood Cr mirror this drainage pattern, while Daisy Cr cuts through the northern reaches of the range. The only significant human engineering shown is the corridor of Fish Creek Rd, which traces the contours of the terrain to provide access across this interior section of the Great Basin. This document highlights the stark, unpopulated character of the high-country range as it existed in the early twenty-first century.
