Fishlake National Forest dominates this high-country landscape along the border of Sevier and Wayne Counties. The region is defined by its water management and drainage systems, anchored by the Forsyth Reservoir and Mill Meadow Reservoir at the southern edge of the quadrangle. These reservoirs collect flow from Um Creek and the Fremont River, which winds through significant terrain features such as Splatter Canyon and Crater-Ivie Canyon.
