The borough of Grove City and its educational centerpiece, Grove City College, anchor this western Pennsylvania landscape at the boundary of Mercer and Butler counties. The town is surrounded by a network of smaller named crossroads and historic settlements such as Millbrook, Centertown, and Harrisville. The terrain is shaped by the drainage of Wolf Creek and its tributary, East Branch Wolf Creek, which meander through the rural acreage surrounding the urban center.
