Alridge sits at the northern end of a landscape defined by sharp elevations and winding watercourses in this 2017 study. The area is dominated by two prominent summits, Higham Peak and Garden Peak, which overlook a complex network of drainages including the Blackfoot River and the steep walls of Wolverine Canyon. The terrain is marked by historical transit routes that follow the natural contours of the land, such as Portneuf Presto Trail Rd and Cold Creek Trail Rd.
