Holland Meadows and the surrounding timberlands of the Cascades are preserved in this 2014 survey. The landscape is defined by the high-elevation divide between the Umpqua National Forest and Willamette National Forest, where steep ridges like Dinner Ridge and peaks including Swastika Mtn and Holland Point dominate the topography. The area is heavily intersected by the Middle Fork Willamette River in the northeast corner and numerous tributary drainages such as Layng Cr and Brice Cr.
