Lake Clark National Park occupies much of this portion of the Aleutian Range, where glaciated peaks and ice fields dominate the high terrain. The northern section is defined by the Umbrella Glacier, which feeds into the high ridges of North Twin and South Twin. These peaks overlook a series of glacial drainages that carve through the wilderness toward the coast, illustrating the transition from alpine ice to coastal waters.
