The northwest corner of the Yomba Indian Reservation meets the eastern fringes of the Toiyabe National Forest in this 1980s topographic study of the Nevada desert. This arid landscape is dominated by the broad expanse of the Ione Valley, where drainage patterns like Ione Wash and Antelope Wash illustrate the complex water management of the Great Basin.
