Keel Mountain dominates the southwestern quadrant of this Linn County landscape, where the terrain is defined by a dense network of high-elevation drainages and prominent peaks. The drainage pattern is complex, with Crabtree Creek and its many tributaries, such as S Fork Crabtree Cr and Bald Peter Cr, carving through the steep topography. In the lower reaches, the map shows the transition into the Green Peter Lake area along the southern boundary, where Whitcomb Cr and Pegman Cr flow toward the reservoir.
