USGS Topo · Published 1989

About this map

Kinta sits at the northern edge of this landscape, positioned between the San Bois Mountains and a developed corridor of industrial and transit infrastructure. Evidence of natural resource extraction is visible in the form of numerous gas wells and a prominent Strip Mine following the northern terrain. The lowlands are defined by the winding course of Sans Bois Creek and Beaver Creek, while the southern half of the sheet rises sharply into the high ridges of Blue Mountain and Beaver Mountain.
