The eastern shores of Lake Whitney dominate this Bosque County landscape, where the residential blocks of Laguna Park overlook the water from the heights of Sosebees Bluff. The terrain is defined by a dense network of tributaries flowing toward the Brazos River basin, including the meandering paths of Childress Creek, Coon Creek, and Willow Creek. This 2010 survey illustrates the transition from the lakeside developments in the east to the sprawling ranchlands and rural homesteads further west.
