The High Plains drainage of the Texas Panhandle is clearly defined on this recent survey, where the Ochiltree Co Lipscomb Co line bisects a terrain of deeply incised creek beds. The primary watercourse, Wolf Cr, transitions through the northern half of the landscape, joined by its southern tributaries including Gibson Cr and the northern reaches of Buffalo Cr. In the far northwest, the distinct landform of Cottonwood Arroyo cuts through the high ground.
