Salines Lake and a complex network of ephemeral waterways define this south Texas landscape along the border between LaSalle and Webb Counties. The area is characterized by low-lying drainages, where Tecolate Cr and Chucareto Cr feed toward the south, while Live Oak Cr and Los Olmos Cr cross the eastern portion of the quadrangle.
