Logan sits as the central point of reference in this corner of Beaver County, where the high plains of the Oklahoma Panhandle are deeply incised by a network of seasonal watercourses. The drainage patterns of Kiowa Cr, Don Jose Cr, and Coon Cr define the landscape, cutting through the high ground in the northern reaches of the Panhandle. To the south, Indian Hill rises near the banks of Indian Cr, marking one of the more prominent elevations in an area otherwise characterized by its agricultural grid and intermittent stream beds.
