Pinehill and the central crossroads of Long Branch anchor this East Texas landscape, which is defined by a dense network of seasonal creeks and drainage basins. The area’s geography is heavily shaped by the presence of Irons Bayou in the north and the expansive Lake Murvaul in the southeast. While the terrain is generally low-lying, elevations rise at Hog Mtn and Greems Mtn, providing distinct landmarks above the surrounding creek bottoms.
