The Bear River Range dominates this portion of Morgan and Weber Counties, where the high-altitude terrain is defined by a dense network of canyons and ridges. Lost Creek Reservoir serves as a central focal point in the eastern half of the sheet, collecting waters from Lost Creek and Belnap Creek before they flow south toward Lost Valley. Much of the northern landscape falls within the Cache National Forest, a region characterized by steep drainage systems like Hell Canyon and Red Cedar Canyon.
