Antelope Valley and the surrounding foothills of the Coast Range meet the expansive floor of the Sacramento Valley in this Colusa County landscape. The terrain transitions from the steep ridges of Sulphur Gap and the narrow corridors of Long Canyon and Boxer Valley into a highly engineered agricultural plain. This lower ground is defined by a complex network of irrigation and drainage features, including the Tehama-Colusa Canal, the Glenn-Colusa Canal, and the namesake Manor Slough.
