Glen Canyon National Recreation Area dominates this landscape, where the rising waters of Lake Powell meet the high desert plateaus of Kane County. The terrain is defined by deep incisions and high promontories, notably at Mazuki Point and the prominent Billie Flat Top. To the west, the Grand Bench creates a massive elevated plateau accessible via the Grand Bench Trail, a route that follows the natural contours above the canyon rim.
