1969 Map of Mecklenburg

USGS Topo · Published 1972

About this map

The rural uplands of the Schuyler and Tompkins county line are defined by high ridges and the headwaters of several Finger Lakes tributaries. Centered on the crossroads of Mecklenburg, the landscape transitions from the agricultural fields of Ulysses and Enfield into the conservation lands of the south. The rugged slopes of Connecticut Hill and Buck Hill overlook the southern reaches of the quadrangle, where the Connecticut Hill State Game Management Area occupies much of the high ground.
