Snowy Range dominates the high alpine landscape of this 2015 survey, where the Medicine Bow National Forest covers a rugged expanse of the Medicine Bow Mountains. The area is characterized by an exceptional density of glacial lakes and reservoirs, including the prominent Medicine Bow Peak and the nearby Mirror Lake and Lake Marie. These waters feed into several drainage systems such as S French Cr and the Middle Fork Little Laramie River.
