Mona sits at the foot of the massive mountain front within the Juab Valley, a landscape defined by the sharp transition between irrigated valley floors and the high peaks of the Uinta National Forest. The map illustrates a well-ordered agricultural and residential grid, anchored by the Pioneer Memorial Park and the Mona Cem. To the west, the waters of Mona Reservoir and the Burriston Ponds provide a stark contrast to the drainage systems of Currant Creek and Willow Cr that descend from the high country.
