1999 Map of Montpelier

USGS Topo · Published 2000

About this map

The State Capitol and the campus of Vermont College anchor the capital city of Montpelier in this late-century survey. The landscape is defined by the confluence of the Winooski River, Dog River, and the North Branch, the latter of which is controlled by the Wrightsville Dam. This engineering feature created the Wrightsville Dam State Recreation Area, a major public space north of the city center.
