Moslander Reservoir and the high ridges of southwestern Wyoming define this high-altitude landscape in Uinta County. The area is characterized by a network of seasonal and perennial drainages, including Van Tassel Cr and W Muddy Cr, which carve through prominent landforms like Moslander Ridge and Twenty Knoll. Evidence of the region's historic grazing and ranching economy is preserved in the route of the Blacks Fork Sheep Trl, which traverses the central and eastern portions of the quadrangle.
