Mt Antelope and the Big Sheep Mountains dominate this high-plains landscape along the border of McCone and Dawson counties. The area is defined by a complex drainage system where seasonal waterways such as W Fork Buffalo Springs Cr and Buffalo Springs Cr carve through the undulating terrain. High points like Circle Tower Hill provide vantage points over the dry coulees and draws that characterize this part of eastern Montana.
