Mount Burwell and Burwell Pass define the high-altitude hydrology of this remote corner of Fremont County. This 2012 survey by the U.S. Geological Survey captures a landscape of extreme verticality, where the Continental Divide separates the headwaters of the Greybull River flowing northeast from the Wiggins Fork flowing south. The terrain is marked by distinctive formations such as Pyramid Peak and drained by a complex network of seasonal and perennial streams including Venus Cr, Mabel Cr, and Bonne Cr.
