Fishlake National Forest dominates this section of the Pahvant Range along the border of Millard and Sevier Counties. The landscape is defined by its complex drainage network, where Chalk Creek and its many tributaries, such as N Fork Chalk Creek and Chokecherry Cr, carve through high-elevation terrain. Numerous water sources are documented here, including Teeples Springs and Shingle Mill Spring, which likely served as critical points for early livestock ranching and forestry operations in the interior mountains.
