The high alpine environment of the Lewis Range dominates this borderland survey, centered on the towering presence of Mount Cleveland. Straddling the boundary between the United States and Canada, the landscape is defined by its glacial activity and dramatic vertical relief. Significant ice masses like the Miche Wabun Glacier and Whitecrow Glacier feed a network of high-altitude drainages, including the North Fork Belly River and Whitecrow Creek.
