Mt Cleveland and the surrounding peaks of the Lewis Range dominate this corner of Glacier National Park, where the high alpine environment is defined by its remnant ice and rushing water. The landscape is carved by the Miche Wabun Glacier and Whitecrow Glacier, which feed a network of drainages including the North Fork Belly River and Whitecrow Creek. The international boundary with Canada runs along the northern edge, marked by the high summits of the Wilson Range and Sarcee Mtn. Deep in the backcountry, the Pacific Northwest National Scenic Trail traverses the terrain, crossing Stoney Indian Pass near Stoney Indian Lake. This map captures a pristine wilderness of interconnected lakes, from Glenns Lake to Atsina Lake, where elevation changes are marked by dramatic features like the Mokowanis Cascade and White Quiver Falls.
